ABOUT TIFFANY MCCOY
Tiffany McCoy is the Joint Planning Office FAA/ANG-I (formally known as the \'Joint Planning and Development Office\') lead for multi-agency (FAA, DoD, DHS, DOC and NASA) Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Working Group. Ms. McCoy has over 20 years of experience in Acquisition, Test and Evaluation (T&E), Maintenance, and Planning communities gained while working for the Department of Defense (DoD), the Intelligence Community and presently with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Ms. McCoy’s areas of specialization include strategic, operational and tactical planning for national level programs, performance, and vulnerability assessments of complex communications and surveillance systems. Ms. McCoy joined the FAA in 2005 and worked vital programs to include the FAA’s Command Communications and Control (C3) VHF/FM program, voice commutation alternatives for the Gulf of Mexico program, and the Data Communications program. She joined the JPDO in 2012 to lead the UAS R&D Gap Analysis effort. Her educational accomplishments include earning two bachelor’s degrees in Meteorology and Electrical Engineering from Florida State University and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
