I am currently working for Thee Jackson State University as the MLI Data Collector/Social Media Marketing & Webmaster. You will see that my knowledge and understanding of management, training and development, revenue assurance, labor and union laws, and project management are a vital asset to my employer. My training in human resource, performance and project management, as well as education in criminology, sociology, alcohol & drug studies and public health are essential factors contributing to both my professional and personal growth.I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology/Sociology, a Master of Arts in Sociology - Alcohol & Drug Counseling, and I am currently in the process of completing a Doctor of Public Health Medical degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Currently I serve as president of the local Jackson, MS chapter of the National Association of Professional Women which holds a seat on the board, as well as a board member for Bare Necessities Organization. My educational honors include the distinction of membership to the Golden Key International Honour Society, a recipient of the Patricia Roberts Harris Fellowship and the Mississippi Alliance for Minority Participation Grant and Research Stipend at Jackson State University. Awards for service and recognition include Staff Excellence Award, Outstanding Education Support, Jackson State University and the VIP Woman of the Year Circle, National Association of Professional Women.
