Accountable for all Quality activities for the Projects BU and leading a team of 7 direct reports with +100 indirect Quality professionals across the globe. Ensures the BU operations assurance program is aligned with the global strategy for Operations Assurance in support of the short- and long-term business strategy. Acts as a member of the Wood Quality Leadership Team. Ensures the Projects BU Quality Strategic Objectives align to the Group and OE Objectives and are effectively monitored, reported, and delivered. Advises Senior Leaders on policy, guiding principles and core activities of operational assurance with a primary focus on critical or higher risk operations or activities within the BU. Provides input and recommendations as to the adequacy and effectiveness of the management systems to support current and future business needs. Promotes a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the Projects BU. Proactively contributes to the formation of the BU Operations Excellence agenda, with the aim of ensuring impact on the business is understood, and that risks are mitigated. Works with the Business Group leadership teams to support operational delivery and key priorities. Custodian of the Projects BU Business Management System (BMS). Supports the standardization of BU working practices to support operational delivery.
