In addition to overseeing this team, I serve as the point person for Human-Trafficking cases and operations.I previously served as a Cyber Analyst with the Survivor Services Team for the Exploited Children Division of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). In this role, I was responsible for reviewing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) reports received through the Cyber Tipline from a variety of sources, researching/gathering additional information, and providing this information to law enforcement agencies on the local, national and international levels.I previously served as the Direct Services Manager with FAIR Girls, a Washington, D.C-based anti-trafficking non-profit organization. FAIR Girls provides a multitude of services including policy advocacy, court advocacy for juvenile survivors and high-risk youth, six-month housing services for adult survivors ages 18 to 26, outreach and prevention education in middle schools and high schools, police academy trainings, and street outreach. Within the scope of my role, I oversaw the survivor-facing operations and supervised the employees serving in these roles. I assisted our Case Management Coordinators, our HOPE Court Case Managers, our Outreach and Prevention Education Specialist, and our Workforce Development Specialist.I have served as an advocate since 2015, when I first started as a volunteer Court Advocate through the organization Safe Nest in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have assisted survivors in filing for Temporary Orders of Protection (TPO\'s), providing testimony regarding their experiences of abuse in the Clark County court system, and served as an emergency victim\'s advocate on domestic violence and human-trafficking police calls with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. For my role in piloting Project 417 with Las Vegas MPD, I received the Presidential Silver Service Award in 2016, signed by former President Barack Obama, as well as the Nevada Governor\'s Award.\"l am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own.\"(Audre Lorde)
