   After years as a school administrator, I’m thrilled to return to the classroom, reigniting my passion for teaching and mentoring. Leveraging my extensive teaching and leadership experience in K–12 schools, I design and deliver coursework for undergraduate and graduate students. I focus on the art and science of teaching, emphasizing the theory behind effective teaching and practical strategies that can be immediately applied in the classroom. I facilitate Socratic Seminars and inquiry-based discussions that engage adult learners in critical thinking, questioning assumptions, and centering equity in their teaching. As an enthusiastic and caring educator, I build community in my classroom, modeling inclusive practices and fostering a space where students feel connected and empowered. I inspire future educators to uphold high standards, teach to the whole child, and create inclusive classrooms using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. Staying current with research, I continuously integrate best practices into my teaching and mentoring. I foster reflection in students and student teachers, helping them assess and grow in their practices. I supervise and mentor student teachers, providing actionable feedback that drives growth in their instructional practices, classroom management, and confidence.
