As Operations Manager my role is key to ensure the smooth running of the day to day business. I work with all business functions to develop, manage and implement strategies for existing/new business areas to significantly improve cost/efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and return on investment. Key Responsibilities: • Developing, improving, and maintaining operational processes and practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs. • Managing all human resources requirements, including hiring and onboarding of all new staff. • Overseeing marketing and PR, including managing a team of two. • Managing accounts, including creating sales invoices, and overseeing bookkeeping. • Assisting with IT requirements, including equipment management and IT support. • Office management. • Team building and performance recognition. • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Key Achievements: • Designed and executed a company branding refresh, providing a modern and uniformed identity across all marketing laterals. • Launched a successful PR & marketing campaign to announce the appointment of a high-profile leader (Sir Michael Wilshaw ex Chief of Ofsted), resulting in profits doubling in the first month. • Developed a live reporting system to track, record and share project data, progress, improving efficiency and team collaboration. • Developed and implemented internal systems to manage HR processes such as pay, annual leave and a new digital expense system. • Designed and implemented an employee orientation program and onboarding process, ensuring smooth transition and adaptation for new recruits to the business. • Championed the development and launch of a brand-new coaching and mentoring service, led by Sir Michael Wilshaw. • Organised staff parties, to celebrate success and recognise performance.
