Dr. Tiffani Jones was born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan. She attended Kentucky State University where she graduated summa cum laude with a dual degree in biology and liberal studies. During her time there, she was an outstanding student-athlete on the track and field team. She went on to receive her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. There she graduated with honors and participated in a plethora of community projects, including sickle disease awareness and teen pregnancy prevention. Her decision to pursue obstetrics and gynecology was a result of enjoying the complexity of taking care of women, her love for the joys of new life in obstetrics and the operatives of gynecology. The decision was deeply rooted in her belief that “women’s health is at the center of community health and a healthier community should be everyone’s ultimate goal.” She went on to complete her residency training at the highly ranked Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana. During that time she served on the Maternal Fetal Health Committee as well as several teen pregnancy prevention programs in the city. Dr. Jones provides care for low and moderate risk obstetrics and gynecology patients. Her special interests include adolescents, obesity, minimally invasive surgical procedures and office surgical procedures. Dr. Jones enjoys community outreach, traveling, shopping, running & spending time with her husband, Thaddeus, and their two children.
