I am a UK migrant toughened, enriched and inspired by my own experience of asylum and Immigration. People and human interaction are my interests and helping others is my best strength. Some colleagues have described me as problem solver, positive and inspiring leader, Helpful, approachable and charismatic.I am a very passionate individual with over 15 years experience of working within the voluntary, health & social care sectors, providing advocacy, advice and information to vulnerable of the community, and campaigning for social justice. Demonstrating leadership in community service is also a priority. So I have previously served as a trustee at the Notre Dame Refugees Centre, currently act as a Board Director and Secretary with Right To Remain, and operate as the Chair of my local Children & Families’ Advisory Board.
