My Analyst role at DAC Beachcroft is very commercially and financially focused on business performance improvement. This requires a comprehensive business process and IT systems understanding. During my 6 years at DAC Beachcroft the firm has expanded considerably, especially internationally. I have been privileged to work on many interesting assignments during this period. I have the dual responsibility - to support to the business internally and externally. Internal MI role - within the business I provide regular and also ad-hoc financial reports to track internal and operational efficiencies and effectiveness, and highlight opportunities for performance improvement. • A project example is where I initiated, specified and delivered an internal dashboard that provided KPIs across multiple client service contracts. External MI role - I support the directors and management team in business acquisition and service delivery. For example I prepare data analysis to support substantial service contract bids to provide outsourced services to major insurance companies. I regularly attend client meetings with directors of Beachcroft to support them when they report on service delivery performance. • A project example is where I designed and delivered an MI Dashboard for a major client. It achieved a substantial improvement in decision support by providing high level analysis for the board.Skills and specialisations include- design of data capture interfaces to operational systems - identifying system deficiencies - proposing process and system changes - data integration design - data cleansing and optimisation - data presentation - automated reports processes.
