Ground Segment Engineer - AIV System Engineer (Assembly Integration and Verification)- Cosmo SkyMed 2nd Generation.As Ground Segment Engineer I am dedicated to the Integration, Verification, and Validation (IV & V) process for the planner and harmonizer sub-systems in the Cosmo SkyMed Second Generation programme.With four years of experience in verification and validation activities, I have honed my skills from Subsystem-level testing to ground segment-level testing. This includes meticulous documentation, preparation, and reporting of Ground Segment Test Procedures, as well as conducting formal acceptance sessions.Throughout my four-year tenure as a Ground Segment Engineer, my primary focus has been to contribute to the system engineering activities related to the Ground Segment. I ensure the successful integration and evolution of satellite ground systems, specifically focusing on validation and integration of the Planner and Harmonizer subsystem, aligning with requirement, specifications and function.My expertise spans a broad range of verification and validation activities, from executing tests at the subsystem-level to carrying out integration tests at the ground segment-level. This is crucial for detecting and rectifying any potential issues that could affect the operational performance of the CSG programme.In addition to scenario preparation and test procedure drafting, I actively participate in formal acceptance sessions with customers, presenting test report results and substantiating the system’s performance and reliability.Furthermore, I provide support to the operational team, offering effective solutions for any issues encountered during system operations.
