Conceptualize and create unique packaging for the Specialty, CPG, Licensing, and regional teams. Working closely with the cross functional team of Global Marketing, Packaging Designers, PE, Procurement, Art Production, In-House Photographer, Sales, Retouchers, and Comp Houses to develop concepts and designs in conjunction with Head of Global Creative. Prepare, direct, and lead design execution, partnering with multi-function team (internal and external).• Concept design and adaptation on aligned package direction, translation into production-ready art, and overseeing execution of design into production.• Leads the development commercialization and provides input for implementing specialty items, components, and containers within different Godiva product platforms. Specialty components include but are not limited to ribbons, snap, bows, cards, plush, baskets, and keepsakes. Metrics for deliverables are delivering in full (must meet functional targets) and on time (responsible for maintaining component timelines). This deliverable is achieved by integrating the needs of internal customers into the execution and delivery of quality goods by coordinating with external suppliers and sources. • Responsible for coordinating and providing samples of specialty items in development to support business needs. • Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation to support the development of specialty items; specifications (working and final), color targets, direction for assembly instructions, and test reports.• Coordinate and run packaging projects from inception to finish.• Manage requests for comps and proofs from Global design to all regions and departments.• Qualified Sensory Panelist. Tasting or improving new/existing products created by the Research & Development Team and scoring the products based.
