My journey in healthcare began at the age of 15, working in pharmacy. Driven by a profound desire to care for others, I advanced to Practical Nursing and then put myself through school to become a Registered Nurse. As the first in my family to graduate college, I have always been committed to breaking barriers and setting new standards.Throughout my career, I have accumulated extensive experience in diverse nursing fields, including OB/GYN, Gastroenterology, OR/Surgical Nursing, Plastic Surgery, PACU, Occupational Health, Workers Compensation, and Home Care. My dedication and drive have led to promotions at every job, culminating in my current role as Director of Nursing.I have successfully created innovative programs and processes that enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Achieving the Director level at a young age is a testament to my leadership skills and passion for nursing. Inspired by a traumatic event in my youth, I have always aspired to be a nurse, believing firmly that \"Life is what you make it,\" and choosing to impact lives with kindness, compassion, and positivity every day.
