ABOUT TIANLU REDMON
Tianlu Jia Redmon is President of Tianlu Chinese Language and Culture LLC. She is a Master Licensed Court Interpreter in Texas and a Professional Qualified Interpreter for the U.S. Federal Courts for Mandarin. She is experienced in interpreting high-stakes depositions and trials, as well as business meetings and conferences. She is also court-certified in NC, LA, and OK.Tianlu is an ATA-certified English-into-Chinese and Chinese-into-English translator, the first and only one to hold both certifications in Texas. She is also the Language Chair and a grader of ATA\'s English-into-Chinese certification exam. She leads a hand-picked team that translates legal and business documents. Currently, Tianlu is a Board Member of the American Foundation for Translation and Interpretation (AFTI). She was the Administrator of ATA\'s Chinese Language Division from 2020 to 2024 and served on the Leadership Council of ATA\'s Interpreters Division from 2015 to 2019. She volunteered as Public Relations Director of the Houston Interpreters and Translators Association (HITA) from 2019 to 2020.Tianlu was born and raised in Mainland China. She is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and near-native speaker of English.
