ABOUT TIANA SNYDER
Starting a career in environmental conservation felt out of reach until I had my first course in environmental policy. Here, I learned the intrinsic value of combining social sciences with environmental science and how there is a dire need for both forms of academia to address the issues we face today. My passion in advocating for people was fostered through my experience working in the higher education field as an Admissions Counselor and Career Advising Intern. This taught me that people from all walks of life can achieve success as long as they are given the necessary tools and support to reach their goals. I see these experiences transferring into a fulfilling role in environmental justice. My goal is to create a sustainable future and empower those who are impacted by environmental change the most.
