As the sole cancer authority for Manitoba, responsible for provincial cancer service delivery, CancerCare pursues state-of-the-art prevention, detection, treatment and support, embedding multidisciplinary research into patient care.As a data scientist student working for the clinical operations, we look forward to develop data-driven solutions that can help CancerCare manage daily patient calls, overcoming budget constraints and growing demand.Some of the skills used to work on the proposed projects are Data Modelling, to understand where to collect data points and create credible data usage, Python, to clean and transform data, MS Excel, to deal with all kinds of data resources, and Power BI, to make visual insights.
