As an elementary schooler, I took apart and reassembled electronics such as radios, old TV’s, etc. and bragged to my parents that “they still worked”. Instead of being angry, my parents fostered my curiosity, love of reading and encouraged me to try new things. I start each day with that same excitement and curiosity as that 5th grader.
