I lead the development of the next generation smart shopping cart overseeing and managing the delivery of the complete solution including HW, SW, FW and Science. My responsibilities includes providing technical input to Product roadmap definition, architecture recommendation and program schedule development and execution. I collaborate with the US based distributed team of 50+ engineers and scientists in the definition of system and components such as compute systems, PCBAs footprint design and architecture, chip selection (SoC, NNP, BLE, Wifi, LTE-M), battery cell selection and certification, vision systems (image sensor, lens), integration of devices, requirements definition and the oversaw development and application of many algorithms in the computer vision and sensor fusion fields. I also worked closely with reliability, sustainability, compliance and security teams to identify product requirements and appropriate applicable regulations for the target operating markets on each product feature and component.
