As a Network Commercial Escalation Manager at Microsoft, I lead strategic efforts within the Cloud Interconnection & Acquisitions (CI & A) organisation to resolve high-impact network supplier issues and ensure operational excellence across global infrastructure. My role is pivotal in managing escalations that affect Microsoft’s network services, working across internal teams and external providers to drive timely resolution and maintain service continuity.I oversee the Supplier Governance Programme, which includes the Supplier Contacts Programme, ensuring accurate and up-to-date contact data for all supplier organisations. This initiative supports proactive engagement and streamlined communication, enabling Microsoft to maintain strong relationships and accountability with its network partners.My responsibilities span:Managing escalated incidents involving network suppliers, including chronic issues, SLA failures, and repeat service disruptions.Driving resolution strategies for complex network-impacting scenarios, coordinating across engineering, operations, and commercial teams.Leading supplier engagement to ensure SLA commitments are met and service reliability is maintained.Supporting proactive monitoring and reporting processes to identify risks and prevent outages.Facilitating workshops and reviews to align supplier performance with Microsoft’s strategic goals.I also contribute to the development of escalation frameworks, engagement portals, and reporting tools that enhance visibility and responsiveness across the network ecosystem. My work is grounded in a commitment to operational resilience, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
