Did my internship at Avery Road Treatment Center, I am gaining hands-on experience in clinical social work, focusing on assessments, treatment planning, group facilitation, and discharge processes. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to individuals dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. I’m also pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a secondary concentration in Macro at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.Previously, I interned at Mesilla Valley Hospital, where I provided mental health services to patients with diverse needs, honing my skills in communication, critical thinking, and documentation using case management software. I hold an associate’s degree in Human Services from Monroe College and a BSW from New Mexico State University. As an international student, I’m seeking opportunities with agencies that offer EB-2 or H-1B visa sponsorship. My long-term goal is to become a licensed clinical social worker, driven by my passion for human rights, social justice, and community empowerment.
