Before advising others, I generated growth as part of management in large multinationals, small medium businesses and start-ups. Few have done both, front line hands-on digital marketing and management level company strategy. In my career, I was fortunate to be trusted with roles from product manager to CMO/global marketing director, which allowed me to practice marketing and solve its challenges on all organizational levels. Then I entered into digital marketing and growth (growth hacking / growth marketing) as practice. What am I doing right now? 1) Mainly, I drive growth as a strategic marketing and management consultant by aligning strategy and operations, hands-on optimization, and help founders to install an entrepreneurial business system that delivers results. 2) At the same time, I demystify growth as a topic and empower people through teaching, training and mentoring. I also coach executives and founders. 3) Help organizations to install a process that delivers growth systematically and sustainably. 4) Lecturer for marketing and growth. For 9 years, I taught marketing management at the University of Antwerp. At one point, 2 years full time with 4 full marketing courses which I also developed.
