ABOUT THORSTEN REUBER
I come from the music industry, where I worked for various major labels, mostly in marketing and sales, inside and outside Germany. I have joined Amazon.de in where I built up the Music and Video stores, and run all media product groups (including Software and Videogames) until 2003, when I took over the Hardlines segment (Consumer Electronics, Toys, Kitchen/Household, Tools and other Hardwares). I left Amazon at the end of 2006, and participated in an LBO of Teufel, a Berlin-based manufacturer/direct distributor of high quality loudspeakers and other audio products. I served as company CEO until Q4 2012.Since then I have been an active Investor and Board Member in the Tech/Services/Consumer and Specialty Goods Segments.In March 2020 I have startet Blue Ocean Partner together with Volker Schmidt. We invest in well-positioned Companies that show strong, sustainable growth.Together with my wife I also run a label for modern handmade tibetan rugs, ReuberHenning.
