ABOUT MATTHEW THOMSON
Matthew Thomson is a Director, Strategic Sourcing for the North American Bus and Coach businesses of NFI Group Inc. He is responsible for supplier relationship management, setting global sourcing strategies and leading a team to execute continuous improvement initiatives in cost and supply chain performance. Prior to assuming his current role, Thomson was Business Manager, Strategic Sourcing where he led significant growth of NFI Group’s global supply chain compliance and responsible procurement policies and programs. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Thomson attended the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Supply Chain Management. Thomson is actively involved in the Winnipeg community as Vice Chair of the Young Associates of the Asper School of Business, having previously served as Chair of the Young Associates’ IGNITE Committee.
