ABOUT THOMAS VAN DAM
My background is very diverse, but mostly focused on technical project implementations, budgeting and modelling, and working in cross-functional teams. I\'ve worked for directory publishers in Europe, a SEM automation firm in California, a recruiting company in Vancouver, a remote area broadband and cellular operator for Nunavut, and now working for the GNWT\'s Department of Lands here in Yellowknife, NWT. I have over 15 years of experience in business analysis, requirements definition, data modelling, product management and development, broadband solutions, and online marketing and communications. My career has taken me across the world and across different types of organisations, both public and private. As a bit of a geek I\'m interested in a million different things, but my personal interests are mainly the outdoors, gardening, hunting, reading non-fiction, science, travel, exercising, and watching documentaries and cartoons.
