Coordinate and lead day to day operations and outbound shipping activity including finished goods order management, carrier and third-party logistics provider (3PL) performance, and transportation planning to ensure on time customer delivery at the lowest cost/best service. • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and outbound shipping activity, for a defined group of plants and port locations. • Provide daily operational plan, priorities, and support to the planning & pad team members. Managing all outbound shipments to domestic customers and overseas export markets in accordance with commercial shipping objectives, in line with logistics budget and standard delivery guidelines, from end to end (E2E). • Maintain SOPs related to transport operations and drive continuous improvement within finished goods distribution with Kaizens utilizing project management methodologies.
