Provide executive level leadership to the Deputy Athletic Director for Student Services and Diversity on a multitude of complex special projects. Serve on select search committees as a diversity advocate for the University of Louisville (UofL) athletics department. Previous positions have included Associate Athletic Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Associate Director of Cardinal Athletic Fund.Oversee and coordinate all academic support services for the UofL men’s and women’s swimming and diving, softball, and men’s tennis programs.Communicate pertinent academic policies and procedures as well as National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), and UofL eligibility requirements to prominent stakeholders to include student-athletes, coaches, sport administrators, and other members of senior athletics leadership.Monitor student-athletes academic performance to ensure NCAA, ACC, and UofL eligibility requirements to include: providing preliminary transcript evaluations for prospective student-athletes, tracking designation of degree forms for student-athletes prior to their 5th semester, completing verification forms for student-athletes in their final semester, if less than full time, reviewing pre-certification results regarding academic progress and degree percentage, maintaining student program plans for each student-athletes major/minor selection, and maintaining detailed and accurate records of students’ academic progress and performance.Compile all end-of-term academic statistics to include: Individual and departmental GPAs, number of student-athletes who earn Athletic Director Honor Roll recognition, and number of student-athletes who earn Athletic Director Scholar recognition (fall only).Serve as the secondary contact for the UofL athletics tutoring program. Serve as a member of the Strategically Organizing Against Racism (S.O.A.R.) committee.
