About Thomas Lane
I currently work at the America First Policy Institute as the Campaign Director for Law & Justice, as well as the Policy Director for Secure Elections. Before my job at AFPI, worked as the Elections Counsel, Director of Election Coalitions, and Assistant Parliamentarian for the Committee on House Administration at the U.S. House of Representatives. Previously, I served as the Virginia Election Integrity State Director at the Republican National Committee. In less than three months, I worked with a variety of organizations and hired a staff of 45 people to ensure the integrity of Virginia’s 2021 election by recruiting, training, and scheduling over 3,200 poll watchers at 5,892 poll watching shifts during both Early Voting and Election Day.Before that, I worked for Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. as New Mexico\'s and Arizona\'s Election Day Operations Director, the National Republican Senatorial Committee managing the post-Election Day operations plan for Georgia\'s Senate Runoff and Special Election, and Lawyers Democracy Fund which is known as the non-profit arm of the Republican National Lawyers Association. In 2020, after completing my legal coursework and a number of different legal internships, I graduated from the Sandra Day O\'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. In 2016, after multiple interviews at Arizona State University and the Arizona State Capitol, I was chosen from a pool of hundreds of applicants from all major Arizona universities to work as a Legislative Research Intern at the Arizona House of Representatives. I provided nonpartisan, objective legislative research for the staff and related assistance to the Members of the Arizona House of Representatives. Also of note is my 6 years of work experience at Costco Wholesale. While at the Tempe, Arizona location, I led all cashiers in membership upgrades, ranked 1st in new membership applications and credit card applications for fiscal years 2014 and 2015, and raised $2,103 for Phoenix Children\'s Hospital.
