ABOUT THOMAS SAUNDER

With a strong entrepreneurial / intrapreneurial mindset, service and result oriented, and building on my academic background with cross-disciplinary skill (Master of Management with a speciality in entrepreneurship and a Master in Cognitive Science), I had an entrepreneurial experience that taught me to be business oriented and to be client centric. I have kept developing those skills with my experience as a consultant. Within Invent I have also developed my consulting and digital strategy skills as well as my knowledge of Bankings and TICS industry. To that end, my business background has given me tools to think clearly and approach problems with methodology and rigor. Having an appetite for Finance, I have started developed corporate finance skills with my internship within Oddo BHF equity team in NY. I have reinforced and expanded those skills with my experience as Chief of staff to Group CFO. Aside entrepreneurship and Finance, I feel my profile is wider than what it can suggest. I enjoy giving meaning to facts and figures and using data as a means, not an end (hence my IBM certificate as data scientist or my certification on Generative AI & Cloud with Microsoft). Communication and social interactions are equally essential to me and I strongly believe in the power of collective intelligence. I try to understand other people’s point of view in order to reach the highest goals as a team and fulfill all expectations. I fully leverage those skills in the management of the partnership with Microsoft. On the more personal fields, passionate about coaching people I’m involved in several mentoring programs for students or young professional. I have also passed my level 2 award in wines (WSET) as I’m also passionate about wine.
