As an Intramural Research Fellow in the Sack Lab within the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), I conduct research in immunometabolism, focusing on a clinical trial investigating the effects of intermittent fasting on T-cell activation and ketone biology, specifically in CD4+ T-cell immunoregulation. My work involves performing PBMC isolation, T-cell enrichment, ELISA, western blots, qPCR, and data analysis. Additionally, I shadow Dr. Michael Sack at a cardiology clinic (Mobile Med), assisting in the care of diverse patient populations.
