About Thomas Betterly

I am a current Teaching Fellow with the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) at the University of Notre Dame. I am studying to complete my Master\'s of Education while also teaching Algebra I at Bourgade Catholic High School in Phoenix, AZ.I am a recent graduate from Saint Joseph\'s University in Philadelphia, PA. Graduating with summa cum laude honors, I have maintained a superior academic profile while refining skills to become an educator. Throughout my undergraduate experience at SJU, I have strived to diversify my portfolio of experiences, including my work as a Supplemental Instruction Leader, as a Resident Assistant, as a Student Minister for Retreats, and as an Orientation Leader. In all of these ways, I have developed a passion for learning, and will strive to teach students beyond the domain of mathematics in my future classroom. I have learned to lead with love and treat all I meet with respect.
