About Tom Pellegrino

I have lived and breathed discovery for the past thirty years. I was introduced to the litigation support world when I was still in high school, working the night shift in the copy room of a major law firm in Center City Philadelphia. During that time, the tide was starting to shift from paper to digital discovery, and I have been riding the wave of change ever since, working my way from the copy room to sales exec to CEO of two litigation support companies, Copy Secure and now Everest Discovery.After launching my first business, Copy Secure, with a colleague, it grew to one of the leading discovery vendors in the Philadelphia area. Copy Secure drew the attention of competitors and was eventually acquired by KLDiscovery, a national discovery vendor. I stayed on as General Manager and Director of Business Development at KLDiscovery for a few years, driving business growth and innovation.As an entrepreneur at heart, I ended up taking over Everest Discovery in 2017, assembling and spearheading the leadership team for the acquisition and transitioning the business’s corporate headquarters from North Jersey to Center City Philadelphia. I collaborated with former Copy Secure employees to establish a dedicated paper services division within Everest, driving paper discovery sales by 67% in the first year. Today, at the helm of Everest, I oversee sales, human resources, legal, finance, and operations, ensuring the company is efficient and profitable while maintaining a strong corporate culture. One of my primary focuses is forging strategic partnerships with corporations in the legal space that complement Everest’s services and building partnerships with competitors that lack paper discovery capabilities. My main goal is to continue addressing the ever-changing discovery needs of law firms and corporations nationwide. As a proud Philadelphian (go birds!), I contribute my time and resources to local causes as much as I can, volunteering and fundraising for the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania for many years. I’m also a member of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, and the JerseyMan Legacy Club. When I\'m not deep in the discovery world, you’ll find me relaxing on the golf course or hanging out with my bulldog, Louie, Everest’s unofficial mascot.
