ABOUT MIKE THOMAS
I\'ve worked in the IT training business since 1989 and although I\'m a subject matter expert in a range of technologies, particularly Microsoft Office, my passion is for all-things-Excel-related with Power BI coming a close second. In a career spanning 30+ years, I\'ve delivered training to thousands of people as well as producing hundreds of written and video-based Excel tutorials which can be found at my blog (https://theexceltrainer.co.uk) and on my YouTube Channel (https://theexceltrainer.co.uk/youtube) I enjoy the challenge of working with people on the more intermediate-to-advanced level areas of an application so, for example, with Excel I focus on areas such as Business Intelligence, Dashboards, Data Visualisation, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot/Power Query and automation using macros and VBA I\'m a Fellow of The Learning and Performance Institute and have worked with and for a large number of global companies and organisations across a diverse range of sectors. In addition to training, I also design and develop Microsoft Office-VBA-based solutions that automate key business tasks and processes.
