ABOUT THOMAS MCEVOY

I’m a writer who recently completed a Master’s in Creative and Critical Writing at the University of Liverpool. My fiction has appeared in journals including The Pinch, J Journal, Collateral Journal, The Ekphrastic Review, and Libre. I won the monthly Shooter Flash competition in March for my story \"River Without Current\". I also won the themed \'Penning the Elements\' Southlands 2025 short story competition. I\'ve been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and I\'m currently at work on my short story collection.Alongside fiction, I write live music reviews for BOOT Music Magazine, where I’ve focused on championing emerging artists from the North West. My background is shaped by international experience. I’ve lived in eight countries, worked in education, hospitality, and the arts, and collaborated on community-based creative projects like The Unlonely City with METAL Liverpool.I’m especially interested in roles that blend storytelling, editing, and culture, whether through fiction, content creation, or marketing.https://thomasmcevoy.uk/
