I have more than 45 years experience in Analytical Chemistry with a primary focus in chromatography and mass spectrometry, software algorithm development and applications software to solve analytical chemistry problems. This experience includes proteomics, small molecule quantification (GLP environment), metabolomics and metabolism studies. I am widely published and have patents in these areas.Specialties: Instrument experience: sector, Traps, Triple Quads, TOFs, FT-ICRs and FT-Orbitraps, wide range of gas and liquid chromatography instruments.I also have a number of years experience using FTIR and Atomic (absorption and emission) Spectroscopy.For software and algorithm development:Algorithm Tools- R- Matlab- MathCAD- Mathematica- Python- Perl Development Platforms- Windows.NET-WPF, WinForms, C#, C++, and C in Visual Studio- OS-X: Objective-C and Swift in Xcode; also Python in VSCode- Linux: C++ in Eclipse and Python in VSCode- Embedded Control and Data Acquisition.Environments- Visual Studio with Team Foundation- Xcode on OSX and for IOS- Eclipse and other IDEs on Linux- Visual Studio Code with multiple languages for a number of OSAll using Waterfall and Agile/Scrum practices.Created the algorithmic engines and applications for the next generation of software
