About Thomas Lee

As Senior VP of Development for Hunt Hawai‘i, Thomas brings over 22 years of experience in real estate acquisition, entitlement, and development across Hawai‘i, California, and Oregon. Over the past 19 years in Hawai‘i, he has led some of the state’s most significant adaptive reuse and value-add projects, securing over $600 million in debt financing and managing the development and monetization of assets exceeding $500 million in value. He has negotiated contracts and conducted due diligence for the acquisition of more than 2,200 acres of land, ranging from large-scale, raw-land master-planned communities to complex brownfield and adaptive reuse developments on former Navy property. In 2024, Hunt successfully completed and turned over the Daniel K. Akaka VA Clinic, where Thomas served as Project Manager. He continues to oversee several of Hunt’s development projects and assets in Hawai‘i, including the development and asset management of 540 acres in Kalaeloa—a planned community on a portion of the former Barbers Point Naval Air Station and the largest redevelopment project in the state.

Duties also include asset management of a diverse commercial portfolio consisting industrial uses, office, retail and residential (workforce rental). 2) Mayor Wright Homes - pubic housing transformation/redevelopment project of a 17ac public housing site in urban HNL into a mixed-use, mixed-income TOD project. 3) Nu\'u Aina - 68 unit high-end residential development in Kihei, Maui. Single-family and multi-family golf course-fronting homes. 4) Waikele Professional Center - commercial/industrial storage facility.
