ABOUT TOM F.
For many years, I have worked to promote mentally healthy workplaces by providing guidance, internationally recognised qualifications, and tailored employee education for organisations in the UK, Europe and the US. This commitment to quality is reinforced by affiliations with the RSPH, MHFA England, the FAA, and the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Thoughtify is a Royal Society for Public Health Approved Qualifications Centre, delivering regulated mental health and behavioural change qualifications at Levels 1 to 4.Being a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, I am deeply committed to advancing mental health awareness and social responsibility, particularly where it relates to the impact of trauma, and especially for the British Armed Forces Community. Since 2017 I have been a member of the NHS Armed Forces Public & Patient Voice Group, and Mental Health Expert Advisory Group, working directly with the Director of NHS England for Armed Forces Health, the National commissioning team, and senior clinicians to develop specialised trauma focused mental health services including \"OpCourage\", which is the new NHS dedicated mental health service for HM Forces veterans & the wider Armed Forces community. Being a veteran diagnosed with PTSD myself I understand the need for these services, and have given countless hours voluntarily to the NHS to support them become established. As a NCPS and BACP registered counsellor I practice psychodynamically/integratively, and work with people experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological problems to help them bring about effective change and/or enhance their wellbeing. My voluntary work includes being a member if the Royal College of Psychiatrists Quality Network for Veterans Services, which assesses and guides organisations delivering mental health services for the Armed Forces Community. I’m also a member of the Kings College Military Research Advisory Group. My company Thoughtify is a Social Enterprise, and supports businesses by fostering mental health awareness, resilience and leadership through impactful training solutions. Our mission is to empower organisations to create sustainable and mentally healthy environments for their teams.
