About Tom George

With a 15+ year track record of satisfying the customer, meeting project deadlines, and thinking outside the box, I am a driven self-starter with the experience to thrive. I provide best in class value in even the most challenging environments. I am a top notch analyst, technical writer, and pattern sleuth; I am the extra set of eyes your problem needs. Though I have a deep passion for shell scripting, job scheduling and tuning, data analysis, SQL, ETL, data modeling, and onshore/offshore collaboration, I\'m always eager to discover new ways to apply my diverse knowledge. I am currently expanding my understanding of Python and object oriented programming as the ETL space begins to shift away from proprietary software and towards open-source scripted solutions. Let\'s work together; you\'ll be pleased to have me on your team!
