Tom Considine, CIPP/US, CIPP/G, is the Principal and Chief Privacy Officer of Tom Considine & Associates, Information Privacy Professionals. Tom served over 22 years as a Department of Defense Security Officer and Criminal Investigator. Tom has made fighting identity theft his life’s mission. He studied the causes and effects of identity theft and data breaches eventually earning his Certified Information Privacy Professional designations through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Tom and his team are consultant’s to government, public and private organizations – the team specializes in educating others on how to protect and maintain sensitive data of their customers and employees. Clients of Tom Considine & Associates include Fortune 500 companies and federal/state governments. Regardless of industry or organization size, everyone must be in compliance with information protection requirements. Identifying the needs of smaller organizations, Tom Considine & Associates is the only firm to develop a comprehensive Information Protection Manager (IPM) training program.
