Since January 2023, I have worked as a Policy and Government Relations Advisor a the the Global Innovation Fund, an organisation which funds innovations targeting the world\'s poorest people. My tasks in this role are below:• Drafting speeches, speaking points and background briefings for the CEO for public & private engagement opportunities• Managing & co-ordinating board preparations + drafting speaking points and preparing verbal content for CEO• Advising CEO on political developments, managing organisation-wide donor reporting and fundraising outreach • Managing relationships with donor governments (UK and Sweden) as well as potential donor outreach• Key achievement: CEO speaking engagements at UNGA, CSIS think tank and Yale University• Key achievement: Advising on Keynote address at Yale University, leading to Financial Times interview • Key achievement: Extending funding agreements with UK & Swedish governments • Key achievement: Led FCDO reporting in 2023, resulting in A+ review (only 2nd time for organisation)
