I am a litigator with more than 15 years of experience. After 10 years of practice in Washington, D.C, I moved back to my native state of Iowa. Recently, I co-founded the Des Moines office of Maynard Cooper, a law firm with more than 300 lawyers in offices coast-to-coast. My experience includes trying numerous commercial, construction, and employment disputes before state and federal administrative agencies, and arbitral tribunals. I draw on my experience as a former Federal Trade Commission trial attorney in Washington, D.C. to represent clients in disputes involving state and federal consumer protection and antitrust laws, and help clients navigate civil investigations by the FTC and state attorneys general. I also advise clients on compliance with federal and state marketing and advertising laws.
