I am currently seeking a NEW management/leadership career and full-time employment in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I have served in a wide variety of command and staff positions throughout my almost 26-year career in the US Army and the Army National Guard. My assignments included Active Duty in Armor (tank) Battalions and Armor Brigades in South Korea and Fort Irwin California. I have also served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as both a traditional Soldier (weekends) as well as on Active Duty (Active Guard and Reserves (AGR))- Full Time. I have served in Iraq, OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM (OIF) during the surge in 20••••08. In early 2009 I was assigned to the National Guard Bureau (NGB) in Arlington Virginia. I have served as a Branch Chief(s) and senior program manager and national program manager on both the Army Staff and The Joint Staff while at NGB. I RETIRED in July 2014 from the Army with almost 26 years of service. Since 2016 I have been teaching Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) in high school as a Senior Army Instructor (SAI), in the Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD).    Senior Army Instructor (SAI) at Polytechnic High School for 10yrs.SY 25-26 open enrollment was 177. With this sustained growth POLY is now authorized a 3rd JROTC instructor-another first ever for our school.JROTC is the largest program on campus for the 8th straight year.15% of the school is enrolled in JROTC.JROTC senior Cadets earned over 3.5 million dollars in college/career/trade/military readiness and school scholarships for their post high school education plans-more than any other program at POLY and any other of the 15 JROTC program in the district. SY23-24 POLY JROTC achieved Honor Unit w/Distinction for the 3rd time for our JROTC Program of Accreditation. POLY won the FWISD District Air Rifle championship for the very first time in 2019 and has won it 4x since. POLY also earned 1st & 2nd place shooter in the district. POLY JROTCs focus is on the Better Person-Student-Athlete-Leaders (BpSAL) concept and making leaders of character and a better citizen. JROTC has become THE model program at Poly High School.We Model and reinforce \"LEAD BY EXAMPLE\" at all times.Teaching topics: Leadership,Character development,Citizenship,Community Service/Learning,Critical Thinking,Teamwork,Effective Communication,Problem-Solving,Project Management,Conflict Resolution,Anti-Bullying,Anger Management,American Military History,Financial planning,Physical Fitness/Health & Wellness, and First AID.
