About Thomas Brown

I am an adaptive and innovative hands-on leader with experience in information technology system performance improvement. Signal support for the command and control of combined arms forces. I graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration in May of 2016. The Citadel, with its military structured environment, gave me the opportunity, through my leadership positions, to polish my work ethic, principled leadership, reliability, and commitment to excellence. Accounting was my academic focus, but I am also interested in Entrepreneurial ventures. I was the 2009 Entrepreneurial Student of the Year in South Carolina. Additionally, I was 4th in the Nation for the Oppenheimer Funds and Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) national competition held in Times Square, New York, NY in 2009. I hope to apply my business skills and leadership capacity with a forward-thinking organization. I am currently serving as an Officer in the U.S. Army National Guard as well as working as the Lead Senior Global Project Manager for Information Systems at Bloomberg LP. Through my experience with the Army, Ernst & Young, and Bloomberg LP, I have become interested with the importance of IT Security and its many avenues such as A/V, Cybersecurity, and Network Security and have taken part in a plethora of classes and certifications to broaden my knowledge thereof.
