Entrepreneur and repeat founder with nearly two decades of experience building and scaling startups across fintech, energy, and mobility. I’m best known for founding Lumi, a pay-as-you-go solar fintech in East Africa that provided electricity to over people.I’ve founded or co-founded seven startups, leading teams across technical, product, finance, and operations roles in some of the world’s most challenging environments, including South Sudan, Uganda, Ukraine, and Russia. My work has focused on turning ambiguity, infrastructure gaps, and regulatory complexity into scalable, market-driven businesses.As my founder experience deepened, I began applying that operator judgment to venture advisory and investing, including leading Operator Stack Fund\'s investment in Turaco’s Series (fintech / insurtech in Africa).Areas of focus include emerging and frontier market operations, renewable energy and rural electrification, fintech and mobile payments, cross-cultural team leadership, and building durable businesses in unstable political and economic contexts.Currently building an aftermarket automotive safety startup.
