Howdy, I’m Thomas Morrell. A hands-on UX and visual design leader with over 15+ years of experience crafting digital products that balance business goals with user delight for amazing humans just like you.My passion lies in utilizing human-centered design principles to unravel complex problems and transform them into beautiful, user-friendly digital solutions.As a creative problem solver, I seamlessly transition between design and strategic roles, shaping holistic experiences that encompass mobile apps, interactive websites, branding, and even the physical built environment. I thrive on motivating others to unlock their full creative potential.I\'m currently dedicated to helping AdvisorEngine define the visionary landscape of a comprehensive wealth management platform, trusted by over 1,200 firms managing $600 billion in assets, tailor-made for the modern financial advisor.In my previous role as Lead Product Designer at Prudential Financial, I played a pivotal role in catapulting their retirement app from a modest 1.2 to an impressive 4.8-star rating on both the iOS and Android app stores. Our work was recognized with the 2020 Mobile Web Award for outstanding achievement in Mobile Development.During my tenure at IDT, I led a globally dispersed UX team that was instrumental in redesigning two native mobile apps, earning impressive ratings of 4.5 stars and above.At Aon, I built a compact yet high-impact UX team, responsible for enhancing the UX architecture of an enterprise software suite. This played a crucial role in the successful sale of the business unit.I\'ve also made it a point to share my knowledge. I\'ve been a speaker at various universities, mentored UX students at Springboard.com, and hosted the \'User Flows: UX Design & Careers\' podcast. I live in Savannah, GA with my wife and children.
