About Thomas Obrien

Combining the art of filmmaking to business and marketing is my passion! I am a driven entrepreneur that is dedicated to helping clients achieve there social media goals, creating engaging and passionate work, and collaborating with other artists on music or film related projects. My greatest strength is my ability to lead and organize film related projects, business management, and public speaking. As co-founder of Project FreeFall, a multi-platform audience development company, I have gained a plethora of experience in relation to content creation, social media, short form storytelling, editing, color grading, brand building, cinematography both horizontal and vertical, accounting, financial strategy, and leadership. I am currently a student at Syracuse University completing his BFA in Film at the college of Visual and Performing Arts. Here I have achieved a 3.84 GPA after 5 semesters, 4 time member of the Dean\'s list, and was awarded the invest in success scholarship. As a member in the program I have created or been a part of over 30 short films and videos, including my own mini feature titled False Lands starring a FreeFall client named Saint Luke. At Syracuse University I am employed as a Student Assistant at the Health Center at the Barns Center of the Arch. Here I operate services such as Pet Therapy and the Mind Spa room. My responsibilities include customer service, organization, cleaning and set ups, completing health item orders, and communication amongst other co-workers. In the last several months I have had the opportunity to be apart of some amazing achievements including including amassing over 200 million views for FreeFall clients, directing and publishing my first mini feature, and being selected as the student speaker for the 2023 Freshman Convocation ceremony at Syracuse University. I look forward to using LinkedIn as a way to connect and build relationships with some of the best names in my desired industries!
