I am an energetic and purpose-driven practitioner-scholar with an extensive background in Adapted Physical Education, professional development facilitation, and the development, implementation, and coordination of physical activity (PA) programs. I take a decolonial, collaborative, and equity-centered approach to develop inclusive culturally relevant health and PA programs, to train practitioners, and to conduct community-engaged participatory research. Specifically, my work focuses on addressing PA and related health disparities affecting aging, Disabled, Black, Indigenous, Latine, and rural populations.
