Tom joined Merrill in 1983. He is the founding member and leader of Vacheron DiSabato & Associates which is a highly skilled 11 person team. The team focuses on the creation of sophisticated strategies and advice for high net worth investors and their families and businesses. Those strategies frequently address not only traditional wealth accumulation but may also include executive stock option, philanthropic or intergenerational wealth transfer opportunities. From 2009 through 2013 Tom has been recognized annually by Barron\'s \"Top Financial Advisors: State-by-State\" list (*Published annually in February. Rankings based on data as of September 30 of prior year.) Previously in his Merrill Lynch Wealth Management career he was the manager of the Fairfield, CT office from 19••••93 and recognized for his commitment to his profession. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation. Tom is a 1983 graduate of The College of The Holy Cross. He is currently on the Board of The First Tee of Connecticut and previously served on the Advisory Board for the Fairfield County Community Foundation. He enjoys golf and is on the Board of The Patterson Club in Fairfield, CT.
