About Thomas Urrunaga
I am currently an engineering student pursuing a concentration in mechanical engineering as well as a minor in creative writing at Elizabethtown College. I am currently involved on campus through intramurals, the outdoors club, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. I am currently working on campus as a Calculus tutor and a Statics Teaching Assistant.I have experience with a variety of engineering projects while at Elizabethtown College and my internship at Johnson Controls. I have worked with product testing and product development. I am currently writing papers regarding my research in sports biomechanics. Throughout these experiences, I have gained deep experience, in autoCAD programs, MATLAB, and Microsoft Office, shop/manufacturing skills, data analysis, data acquisition, and technical writing. I have demonstrated leadership and collaborative skills through working on teams for engineering projects in college as well as various internship positions. I have learned how to work with a various number of personalities to drive projects forward and ensure tasks are completed to deadlines. I have also learned how to build effective, professional, and personable relationships with my colleagues and supervisors.
