About Thomas Tran
Hello! I am a graduate from UC Davis with my B.S. in Molecular and Medical Microbiology. I am passionate about microbiology and dedicated to researching and enriching knowledge about life at the microscopic and biochemical scale. I have a personal focus on molecular biology, biochemistry, and proteomics.I finished research involving gene editing, transient expression, and protein sciences at the Stergiopoulos Laboratory for plant pathology and also did research for the Fox Laboratory in brewing & food science. I’ve gotten the opportunity to intern in Clinical Affairs at Beckman Coulter diagnostics doing antibiotic susceptibility testing.In the future, I hope to pursue a career in CLS and pursue my Master’s degree!
