   The Director of Tax for the United States, Canada and Germany operations of North America\'s largest glass manufacturer. Professionalizing the income and indirect tax functions by optimizing co-sourcing tax relationships with limited internal staff, encouraging insourced tax technology solutions, creating multi-year tracking of all cash tax savings and identifying all tax-affected operations issues.Substantial cash tax savings have been driven into a cost-focused organization through four U.S. and one Germany legal entity restructurings, revamped international transfer pricing methods, securing a $67M patterned glass domestic advanced manufacturing U.S. income tax credit, initiating research tax credits and foreign derived intangible income deductions for four business segments and indirect tax controversy resolutions (sales tax refunds, a ten-year property tax settlement and a plant non-annexation agreement). Very wide range of service including deep tax technical reorganization and merger issues, net operating loss optimization, legal agreement drafting, intangible asset licensing, earnings & profits and dividend with U.S. withholding tax guidance. A weekly international tax consultant to Mexico and Germany.Vitro has float glass plants in Pennsylvania, Texas and California, automotive fabrication plants in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and North Carolina and glass container and calcium chloride distribution based in Texas. Vitro had acquisitively grown in the United States and Canada (virtually all of the glass plants built and operated by PPG Industries (acquired in 2016) and by Pittsburgh Glass Works (acquired in 2017)). The company has organically grown in Mexico, Brazil, Columbia, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama, with operations in the European Union and China. Vitro, founded in 1909, is a private multinational company with its headquarters in Monterrey, Mexico.
