About Thomas Slowe
With over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur, I am currently the CEO of Breadcrumb Analytics, a start-up that provides data-driven insights and solutions for a variety of organizations. The relationship between technology and business pragmatism has been firmly inculcated in my brain through several decades of making mistakes and then learning from them. I think this makes me better at creating value for our customers and stakeholders. Previously, I was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University at Buffalo, where I mentored and advised around 40 pre-seed companies. Going farther back, I founded and led several ventures mostly in the AI/ML deep-tech domain. Going really far back, I started my first company at age 14 where I designed, made and sold neckties. I have an MS from the MIT Media Lab and a BSEE from Rutgers University.
